Yes, homeowners have gained 10 years of equity in about 2 years’ time! Wow! Lucky you! But that doesn’t mean that today, in a shifting market, that sale pricing can be set based on buyer demand over actual market rate. A home is only worth what a buyer will pay and there have been examples galore of price reductions, increased days on market and canceled listings due to unrealistic expectations. Listen to your realtor and get the facts on pricing your home to SELL! There are plenty of buyers out there but their desperation has waned. Let’s discuss! 🗣

November 2nd: Interest rates are set to go ⬆️ .75 point today…

So, how is the real estate market REALLY doing? Depends what you read, who you talk to and what your situation is! In general, we have more inventory and less buyers as we see interest rates on the rise and the holidays around the corner. Investors, this is a fantastic time to take advantage of the equity you have built in the last two years and add to your portfolio. With great options and less buyer competition, we should be discussing how to take advantage of the slowdown!
